A catch-all email mailbox is one that captures all the emails sent to nonexistent email addresses. For instance, if your email address is info@domain.com, but someone mistypes it and sends an email message to inof@domain.com, it will still be received in the catch-all mailbox that you have created. Only one single mailbox per domain can have this feature enabled and in this way you will never miss emails because the other side has an outdated email address or has made a spelling mistake. The disadvantage of using a catch-all mailbox is that you may begin receiving lots of unsolicited bulk emails, but this problem can be rectified by using anti-spam protection software. It is also essential to remember that a mailbox with an activated catch-all feature cannot forward inbound email messages to a 3rd-party email address.
